Thanks Donna.. I just can't figure out why he would start now, 3 weeks later.. I don't suppose the change in food would have cause it? To my knowledge, none of the other kits are doing this. Thanks again, Rena

Just a few times a day and I would not worry about it. But if it continues, perhaps gets worse, or the bun starts having a dirty nose, then you'd have to see the vet for a prescription to deal with it. The medicine is expensive, but it does work now…

Thanks, I really have been blaming myself for this. My friend's husband said that one thing you have to remember when you're keeping live stock is that you also get dead stock...too true, but I've been so ridiculously lucky for so long that I kind o…

I'm really sorry to hear about this. It is always hard, but even harder it seems when you don't know why or how.. :( It makes it hard to treat if you can't figure out what if anything is really wrong.

Hi Everyone, One of the ladies that got a kit from me just called and had some questions about her bunny sneezing.  She said he just started this like a couple days ago, and it is not very often, maybe a few times a day.  The only thing different is…

I'm so sorry, Susan. There is little else you could have done for her, I'd probably have thought she was A-OK too. One thing we know, our rabbits are fragile. They can tolerate so much, it doesn't seem so, but then something can go wrong in a flash…

I'm so sad! She was seeming a little off her feed on Friday; she ate a little hay, drank a little water and I kept an eye on her.  I brought her into the house to make sure she was still pooping (she was) Her bum was dirty like she had had a little…

LET'S CHAT

Hi everyone. This network features live (real time) chat! When you sign in (you might have to sign into the chat box too, but it is your same ID & password), be sure to turn the volume up (next to the little smiley face). Then if anyone posts anything, you can hear it and check it out. Also, on any page, down at the bottom in the status bar, it tells you how many members are online. That means they are on the site right then and might be available to chat. You can set your privacy options NOT to show if you are online too, if you wish. Just go to "settings" in the upper righthand box on every page. Have a great time chatting!

New buck and had my gall bladder removed...

I got a new chestnut buck and he's really handsome! But the morning of New Year's Day, my side was hurting.. a lot. I really didn't think it was anything. Thought I had too much to eat. I only had one beer, but nothing I took helped and I couldn't even hold my little man...
So on the 3rd, I went to the ER. It was a gall stone. They removed it the next day, and today I had the whole gall bladder removed. That was a trip. I never had surgery before.
I was going to get a Grand Champ tort buck this… Continue

January tasks....

Welp, it's (almost) January, and according to my pre-business business plan, this is the month for putting together my rabbit website. I'm not a tech-interested person at all. Instead, I am the ultimate end-user: I don't care how or why it works, I just want it to work with as little fuss from me as possible.

After asking around with my tech-savvy friends, the three most popular site builders are GoDaddy.com, Intuit.com, and the Yahoo small business builder. I'm wondering if any of you have exp… Continue

-BIG SIGH- NO WOOLBLOCK

She is having poops with wool, but everyone has told me that's good, so I'm happy. They look healthy, big, and moist, and I still need to get some papaya.
Her feet are scabbing up, so they're healing. I'm just glad she's doing better.
Getting another bunny tooomooorrooow!

Got my 3 hole cage and response from the previous owner of the new doe..

A little rusty, but it works. It's actually not that bad. I just need to clean it off and get some water bottles, feeders, and hay racks for it now.
The previous owner contacted me worried that her doe was being hurt by me? She stated that she had been brushing everyday to keep mats at bay... which she straight up failed at.. and that plucking her is a long and painful process.. and it's easier to shave her and card the usable wool.
For one thing, it's not supposed to be painful for them to be p… Continue
